Academic Support

Finding high quality, convenient afterschool programs that truly support learning can be challenging. The Blue Door Academy’s Academic Support Model provides structured, supportive time after school where kids can strengthen foundational skills, stay engaged in learning, and build the habits that support lifelong academic success, all within a familiar school setting.

Designed for Families

The Blue Door Academy provides a safe, structured afterschool environment where kids are well supervised, engaged in meaningful learning, and are a part of a community that builds positive relationships that families can rely on.

Each Academy session concludes with a family friendly, community-based culminating experience, where kids share what they’ve explored and learned. These moments celebrate growth, make learning visible, and strengthen connections between kids, families, schools, and the broader community.

More than 22 million children in the U.S. don’t have access to afterschool programs, leaving many busy families with limited options for consistent, high quality programming after the school day ends. At Blue Door Academy, families gain peace of mind knowing their children are supported, engaged, and cared for in an afterschool experience designed to help them learn, explore, and thrive.

The Blue Door Academy is a nonprofit program. Registration helps offset program costs and supports access for youth throughout the Boys & Girls Clubs network. Scholarships are available, and no child is ever turned away due to ability to pay.
